With years of hands-on experience owning and caring for small furries, horses and dogs of all types—from lively puppies to reactive rescues, who need extra patience and understanding— I know that each pet is truly unique. Having worked within the veterinary industry for over 3 years; being pet first aid qualified, fully business insured, I bring both experience and heart to every walk and every visit.

The Heart’s Behind SpottyDog 🐾
Hi, I’m Zara and I’m a 31 year old animal lover who loves a good dog walk. Blu, my 4 year old Dalmatian is my inspiration and emotional support dog (by that, I mean I support her emotionally, while she lives her best life).
Animals have always been my biggest love, especially dogs! Growing up surrounded by rescue dogs - particularly Dalmatians - and horses, I’ve spent my life learning to understand and care for animals with all sorts of personalities and temperaments. Fun fact: I had my lip bitten off by a dog at just five years old, but somehow that only made me love them more!
I spent much of my twenties chasing a career in the corporate world, but after spending 3–4 years working in the veterinary industry, I realised that my happiest moments were always those spent around animals.
So, I finally decided to follow my heart and build something of my own, doing what I genuinely love.
I’m naturally cautious, vigilant and incredibly protective when it comes to animals in my care. Their safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come before anything else. I’m pet first aid qualified, fully insured, have spent 3 years triaging animals in a veterinary practice, and still holding strong links to the industry for clinical support and advice.
My promise is simple: to care for your pets with the same love, patience and attention I’d give my own. ❤️
